Robert Van Beurden is an accomplished artist. In particular his still life work in oils is first class in my view. I worked with Robert recently and only discovered his talents through conversation. Turns out he likes bikes, plays guitar and paints. Anyway, do have a look. The site is in Dutch but if you find the 'Galerie' section and select 'Stilleven' it will take you to the still life works. Stuart Stevenson owns a small art shop in Clarkenwell which can only be described as possibly the most traditional, quaint and authentic art shop in London. It's a real pleasure to just wander around and pick out what else I need (or not). It's a family run business which definately gives customers a personal touch. Customers seem to be on a personal level with Stuart and his team. If you're in the area, pop in. Good stock of materials and access to great advice if you need it.
Gallery 105 in St Albans is situated near the city centre on Victoria St. Great choice of quality frames and great original artwork. Jean is a great help for advice, friendly and professional.
