Burning Woman

A woman runs from a buring house through the door we see behind her. She too is on fire. Her arms raised in panic as she tries to flee the source of the flames. This is what we see.

I did notice however, that this character has an interesting dual purpose.

Punch & Judy Show

The first, and foremost, is the woman in flames. The second is a Punch & Jusy puppet.

If you were to view the same picture upside down, the image looks much more like a puppet flopped over the side of the kiosk. There is even a suggestion of the curtain pulled to one side when seen through the right hand image (upside down).

There are several pointers and evidence to support this...

First and foremost, take a look at the hands... They are different. One is gloved, like a puppet's hand would be gloved. Whilst the opther looks like a real hand. This lends a great deal of credence to the theory that thsi character has a dual representation. The flap of cloth on the left hand side armpit belongs to a Punch & Jusy puppet, whilst the arm on the right hand side, doesn;t have this at all and looks, again, like a normal human arm.

A little further below we can see a strange shape of something that really does resemble a crocodile with it's two bulges for its eyes and the flames along the length are now the crocodile's teeth. It looks like it's got Punch in its jaws and is eating him!

Behind this figure is a small window located in a tall narrow structure. It could be the view from the inside of the kiosk from where the puppets are worked, cerainly the shape and size look like they could be a kiosk.
